With the increase in vacant properties in our neighborhoods comes the potential for vandalism or just unauthorized occupancy . Non-residents have been spotted on these vacant home properties at odd hours. We all want to protect our neighborhoods.
Block Watches are programs in which neighbors work together to keep their community safe. Neighborhood Block Watches can be an effective means of improving the public safety health of our communities. The City of Auburn is very responsive and helpful in establishing neighborhood Block Watch programs. We have many very successful programs in Lakeland communities now.
